Responding to sexual assault – a university student context (1 day) workshop

Responding to sexual assault – a university student context (1 day) workshop

In this session CASA House facilitators present the same foundational principles and frameworks for responding to sexual assault that are given during the highly sought after Responding to Sexual Assault one day sessions. In addition, the university sector specific session provides an opportunity to bring together people working across the sector into one space to share their experiences, and challenges. The facilitators discuss issues commonly found in these settings and provide case studies that relate directly to university staff and student experiences. The topics of common myths and misconceptions, impacts of sexual assault and effective responses are explored with particular focus on the complexities of a university context.

Workshop number limited to 20 and attendance is through prior booking only

Confirmation will be sent on receipt of registration form AND payment. Additional details re venue, etc will be sent prior to the workshop.
