Family Violence Risk Assessment and Risk Management

A suite of materials have been developed to support the implementation of the Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework and CRAF training delivery. These materials, available to view and download below, include the Risk Assessment and Risk Management Manual, a series of training handbooks for the various types of training delivery, a DVD and supporting and reference documents.

CRAF Manual

The Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework Manual has been developed in consultation with family violence service providers, police and courts.

It is distributed to all participants of CRAF training.

Training DVD: 'Family Violence Risk Assessment - Working Together'

The DVD has been developed to support training in Family Violence risk assessment in an integrated service response to women and children experiencing family violence. Some chapters show real women sharing their personal stories, whilst case studies are performed by actors.

All chapters can be viewed with or without captions and a separate text document of the captions is also available for download.

Domestic & Family Violence Referral Options

This Referral Options booklet has been developed as a resource for workers in the domestic and family violence sector. The booklet is a resource of the Domestic Violence Resource Centre Victoria (DVRCV) and is regularly updated to ensure currency. You can access the Referral Options Booklet by downloading the DVRCV Referral Options Handbook or, alternatively by accessing the online Services Directory on this site.
