MARAM Minimum Response Guide

To help you respond to increased family violence risk during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Family Safety Victoria have developed a series practice notes under the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) framework.

These resources outline the minimum steps those working in behaviour change and specialist family violence services must take while supporting victim survivors and perpetrators of family violence, including adolescents who use violence. Download the guides by clicking the buttons below.

A practice note has also been developed to guide those who are not specialist family violence workers, but may come into contact with victim survivors or perpetrators in their line of work.

See the video below for guidance on how to use these Practice Notes. It also provides an overview of MARAM risk factors in the context of COVID-19, best practice response for specialist practitioners and the importance of collaborative practice.

Note: Each Practice Note resource is a ‘live’ document that will be updated as the COVID-19 pandemic and associated lockdown restrictions evolve. Last reviewed: 22/06/20
