Women's Health in the North
Women’s Health In the North (WHIN) is the regional women’s health service for the northern metropolitan region committed to improving the health, safety and wellbeing of women.
WHIN’s Northern Integrated Family Violence Services (NIFVS) coordination team, led by the Regional Integration Coordinator (RIC) resources, coordinates and supports integration of family violence and related services in the region.
WHIN also leads a regional approach to the prevention of violence against women, working with local government, community health, primary care partnerships and community organisations. This work is guided by a regional prevention strategy and cross-sector committee.
WHIN's work covers the municipalities of Banyule, Darebin, Hume, Moreland, Nillumbik, Whittlesea and Yarra.
